A Weekend of Exploring...

My friend Koren came to visit us this past weekend. We always love having visitors (hint,hint), it is a great reason for us to go out and explore parts of North Carolina that we haven't been to yet.

Saturday we went hiking at Cascade Falls and Linville Falls. We went to hiking at Linville a few weeks back with Grandma and Grandpa Geans, and we liked is so much we went back.

Sunday, we went to Hanging Rock State Park and went swimming. This is such a fun place it feels so camp like and it is so opposite from anything Florida. They have a dock towards the middle of the lake that has two diving boards. It provides me with endless hours of entertaintment watching everyone jump, and flip!

Monday, Jack got a hair cut and we went blueberry picking despite the 95 degree weather. Koren left to go back home, and so started another week of adventures...

This weekend we will be in Apex, NC visiting Michelle, Steve, and Griffin. I am sure we will have loads of fun pictures to share next week, until then

Joey Turns 4...

Jack's cousin Joey turned Four Today, but we celebrated on Sunday. We went bowling and played in the backyard. Jack actually bowled higher than me the first round, with some help from Kenny and bumpers! Here are some photos of the festivities...
